    MetGlas Installation Tips:
  • Place Metglas as close as possible to the source of the field for best results.
  • Use an insulator to avoid direct contact between Metglas and covered metal conduits or wires.
  • Enclose the source (cylinder shapes) whenever possible.
  • Overlap and tape all seams for good metal-to-metal contact.
  • Avoid sharp bends and don't use helix (spiral) shapes.
  • Do NOT allow Metglas to contact live bare wires to avoid electrical shock!
  • And of course, be careful of the edges, as they may be sharp.
