Attaches Ground Cords to Fabric or Plastic
Want a tidy and good looking way to attach a ground cord to a conductive fabric or plastic shield? This simple hardware combination does the trick in style. First, crimp the provided ring terminal to your ground wire. Next, punch a small hole in your conductive sheet. Pass the stud of the snap through this hole and through the ring terminal. Finally, apply the other half of the snap. Makes good contact and you can move it or remove it as needed. Snap is nickel plated for excellent corrosion resistance and is washable. Ground wire not included.
If you don’t like the idea of grounding your shielding paint, fabric or plastic through your building’s electrical system, you can use this simple and durable grounding stake to connect directly to the Earth. Sturdy, rust resistant, 48 inch long, 11/32" diameter Copper plated steel stake is ready to drive into the soil. Complete with exterior grade, 18 gauge ground cord (with no terminal) and stake-to-cord connector.
Note: if soil is rocky, you may need to dig a hole first with appropriate tools. Be careful when selecting location… do not puncture buried wires or pipes.

High Silver Content
These socks start with a polyester fiber which is twisted with pure Silver fibers, then knit into the sock shape, giving it a very high conductivity (only a few Ohms across) and good shielding performance throughout. Reasonably soft and stretchy with ribbed cuff. Socks include a 1.7 mm male snap near the cuff. Great for RF shielding, grounding, and can even be used for TENS applications. Hand washable. Fits shoe size 5-10.
The Finger Faraday Cage!
For those of you who experience (or want to prevent) ES symptoms in your hands when using a computer keyboard, laptop, cell phone or other electronic devices, these gloves form a conductive enclosure and effectively shield radiowaves and electric fields. Soft, light weight, with ribbed cuff, and offering good tactile sensitivity. Polyester fiber is twisted with pure Silver fibers, then knit into a stretchy glove shape in basic gray color. Each glove has a 1.7 mm snap for a ground cord. Fully hand washable and tested for 50 cycles with no appreciable loss of conductivity. All fibers are conductive, achieving resistivity of less than 10 Ohm/sq. These gloves are also used in industry for static control when working with delicate static sensitive components and can even be used for TENS applications. Check Sockets for Improper Wiring and Faulty Ground!
You know what happens when we ass-u-me? Electric sockets can be bad for a number of reasons: a wire can short or fray, a wire can become disconnected, or corrode at the contact, or the wires can be connected to the wrong contact altogether! These problems can be a fire hazard, a shock hazard, a problem for polarized appliances, and definitely a problem if you are using the socket’s ground connection to Earth your shielding.
There is no need to guess because it is so easy to test for proper wiring at a socket. Simply plug in the tester and look at the result. Large LCD display indicates if ground is missing or faulty. Easy to see LEDs light up to indicate all these possible problems:

Great Way to Connect Leads to a Conductive Fabric
Working without alligator clips or snaps? This nontoxic, solvent free and water soluble material spreads easily and dries quickly to form a conductive bond between most surfaces. Just squeeze a little bit onto your fabric, embed the bare copper wire lead into it and wait about an hour. It adheres well to a wide range of synthetic and natural fabrics. Note that Electric Paint is water soluble, washing with soap and water will remove any paint which has been applied. If you want to make it more durable, you can use waterproofing spray to protect the surface of the fabric. Use it to make conductive traces, repair circuit boards, even make smart textiles!
The paint’s conductive properties do not degrade over time. In-house samples demonstrate that the material can last years if treated properly and kept dry. Electric Paint is well suited for screen-printing with meshes ranging from 43t to 90t. The paint is slightly resistive- at approximately 55 ohms per square. The conductivity of Electric Paint increases as it dries, therefore wait until it is completely dry to test your projects. 10ml squeeze tube. Black.
