Dual RF/IR Detector
Light beams, especially lasers, provide an excellent method for carrying audio intelligence and are not detectable by ordinary RF (radio frequency) detectors. For those who need either a very sensitive RF detector or an infrared (IR) detector this unique item allows you to search for sources of either RF or infrared transmissions.
With its bandwidth of 1 MHz to 2500 MHz and its extra sensitive circuitry, it will pick up signals that other detectors may miss. It is designed to pick up subminiature radio and infrared transmitters wherever they are located - in your home, office or car. To change from RF to IR detection, simply use the convenient front panel switch.
Using the SENSITIVITY control and meter readings, you can quickly zero in on hidden RF and IR transmitters. Also use it to check your telephone and its associated wiring for RF bugs and taps. Can even be used to test your IR remote devices (TV remotes, etc.). Spectral Peak at 940 nm.
Weighing only 8 oz., it is furnished in a high-impact case that measures 5.3" x 3.3" x 1.5". The telescoping whip antenna can be extended 33". The unit comes complete with 9 volt battery, antenna and instructions.

Imagine that you have super powers and you can see heat and cold with your eyeballs. That’s the power that thermal imaging gives you. There are 100’s of thermal images on the internet showing hot, warm or cool spots on electrical equipment, engines, windows, plumbing, and even human bodies! Thermal imaging is the fastest and safest way to check for these temperature variations. In the FLIR E series, Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging (MSX) adds visible spectrum definition to IR images by detecting the edges of objects and including that detail in the thermal image. Text becomes clearly visible so that you can read a label or identifier within the IR image. This exclusive function provides extraordinary thermal detail that instantly highlights and orients problem locations.
You could save money by finding impending failures before they occur, reducing overtime, taking advantage of scheduled maintenance, and extending equipment life. Troubleshoot in seconds! Let the varying temperatures of components tell the story. By regularly checking equipment health and maintaining a safe distance from equipment during inspection risk is minimized.
