Russian Made Geiger Counter
RD1706 is the improved version of the Low Cost Geiger Counter for beta, X-ray and gamma-rays with these advantages:
• better precision of indications
• expanded range of indications up to 999.0 µSv/h
• ability to register x-ray radiation
• reduced time of observation
There are two Geiger–Muller counters which reduces time of observation from 40 seconds to 26 seconds while improving the precision of indications. And the time of observation automatically adjusts from 26 seconds to as low as 1 second when strong radiation sources is detected. This is necessary to ensure safety of professionals working with high radiation sources.

The Observer Software runs on a Windows platform and can be used with the Inspector to record Counts, CPM, and CPS and has the ability to collect, log, and perform statistical analysis on the data received.
The data is displayed on a graph as well as digital and analog on-screen meters and can be saved or printed in various ways including a spreadsheet format. The dwell/count time can be adjusted for each point on the graph. You can also set the length of time for the count. The on-screen meters in the software have adjustable settings as well as a settable alarm in CPM.
