Simplest Way To Measure the Frequency of EarthSafe The EarthSafe has an LED which blinks at the same frequency set on the device. This PhotoTachometer can read the blinking LED and tell you the frequency with great precision. Allows repeated setting and re-setting of the EarthSafe to any frequency within its range. Just point the Photo Tachometer at the blinking LED and see the reading. Useful up to about 5 inches from the LED. Readout is in RPM (which is cycles per minute) so simply divide by 60 to get Hz (cycles per second). 7.83 Hz = 469.8 RPM. Can also be used to measure the frequency of moving (rotating or oscillating) objects. Nice carry case included. EarthSafe sold separately.

The Schumann Resonances are quasi-standing electromagnetic waves that exist in the Earth's 'electromagnetic' cavity (the space between the surface of the Earth and the Ionosphere). Like waves on a string, they are not present all the time, but have to be 'excited' to be observed. They are not caused by anything internal to the Earth, its crust or its core. They seem to be related to electrical activity in the atmosphere, particularly during times of intense lightning activity. They occur at several frequencies, specifically 7.8 (strongest), 14, 20, 26, 33, 39 and 45 (weakest) Hertz, with a daily variation of about ± 0.5 Hertz.
